The Human Cognition Project
Lumos Labs has a collaborative research initiative, the Human Cognition Project, which currently partners with over 100 university collaborators. Through the HCP, we grant qualified researchers free access to Lumosity’s cognitive training tasks, assessments, research tools, and, in some cases, limited access to data on cognitive task performance — helping them conduct larger, faster, and more efficient studies.

CLINICIANS
We partner with clinicians through our CARE program.
The Clinical Access Research and Engagement program, or CARE, offers Lumosity free trials to clinicians such as medical doctors, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech pathologists, neuropsychologists, psychologists, and others. Designed to support an “open science” model, we provide these free trials in exchange for clinician feedback. The USA Memory Championship and Lumos Labs have teamed up to showcase intellectual achievement by hosting a demonstration of the unlimited abilities of the human brain. Since 2020, Lumos Labs has provided games for the annual championship that challenges one of the most important and fundamental skills of mental ability – Memory.
Teach for America finds, develops, and supports a diverse network of leaders, working together to end educational inequity. To support their efforts, Lumos Labs provides Teach for America teachers with a free six-month subscription.
